FLUTTERLAND'S FAVOURITE CHILDREN'S BAND

Childrens Poetry & Rhyming Stories by David Bray

Champ steps up to sing the next one, "Here's a song I wrote,"
And everybody sings along, they know it note for note
Captain Pete says, "BB used to bang on saucepan lids,
Now he is the drummer in this famous band of kids!"

Little Gracie Garner dreams that one day she will stand
Upon the stage, before the crowd, rockin' with the band
"One day I will join them, singing songs that make you move
Everyone in Flutterland will slip into the groove"

Mrs Chips joins Larry Lobb moshing in the pit
Larry says, "I think this song is going to be a hit!"
"I agree," says Mrs Chips, "I've listened to the words,
It's all about a boy with wings who flies up with the birds"

Myn slides on her knees across the stage with her guitar
Darl jumps up and does the splits, karate kicks, "Hu hah!"
Champ picks up the mic stand, then he holds it like a sword
BB bangs the cymbals while Myn plays the final chord

The crowd is so excited they let out an awesome roar
And every single one of them starts chanting, "We want more!"
Champ and Darl and Myn and BB count to four and then
Smile to one another as they start the show again

The End
