FLUTTERLAND'S FAVOURITE CHILDREN'S BAND

Childrens Poetry & Rhyming Stories by David Bray

Saturdays in Flutterland are well and truly planned
Everybody comes to watch their favourite children's band
Champ is up the front, he plays guitar and also sings
Everybody celebrates the joy that music brings

"Thank you all for coming," BB says behind the drum
And then the spotlight shines on Myn as she begins to strum
The music starts off slow and soft, then BB hits the gong
It turns into a rockin' rollin' funky children's song

Darl is at the microphone, her instrument of choice
Everyone applauds because they love to hear her voice
Flutterland appreciates it's groovy little stars
With their drums and microphones and rock 'n' roll guitars

The second song's a lullaby, gentle, sweet and mellow
Nora Nodd is on the stage, helping out with cello
The crowd is rocking back and forth with hands up in the air
Mrs Chips is up the back, she's standing on a chair

Larry Lobb is dancing with a smile upon his face
" I love it up the front where you can feel the pounding bass!"
Everyone from Flutterland is there amongst the crowd
Except for Charlie Fripp, for him the music's way too loud
