MYN'S MAGIC MUSIC BOX

Childrens Poetry & Rhyming Stories by David Bray

BB yelled, "You guys, I think I've found the winding track"
Myn said "great let's follow it, we'll pass the run-down shack.
On our left we'll see a creek, it's full of one eyed crocs.
Before you know it we'll possess the magic music box!"

"This might get scary", Champ began, "I'm glad we're all so brave.
We have to pass the dark and gloomy skull and cross bone cave.
Be ready for the haunted noises, be prepared for shocks.
Keep the dream alive and find the magic music box!"

The track was long and winding, the sides were lined with bones
Just before the shack they found a circle formed with stones
They passed the creek and crocodiles and cuckoos without clocks
On their spooky way to find the magic music box

The track was getting narrower and narrower ...until
It disappeared entirely atop a grassy hill
Darl's big toes were poking through the holes inside her socks
And there it was in front of them, the magic music box

BB was exhausted, he dropped and kissed the ground
Myn believed the music box was glad it had been found
She took the keys and one by one loosened all the locks
Then, as one, they looked inside the magic music box

To be continued...........
