MRS CHIPS WIGGLES

Childrens Poetry & Rhyming Stories by David Bray

It wiggles when I'm working hard, it wiggles when I play
It wiggles when the clock strikes one, it wiggles night and day
It wiggles when I do the cha cha and wiggles when I bop
It wiggles when I do the limbo underneath a mop!"

BB looked at Mrs Chips and said, "You're not alone!
My Adam's apple wiggles when I'm talking on the phone
Everyone from Honolulu, Kathmandu and France
Anyone who's anybody wiggles when they dance!"

Champ said, "BB's right you know, I think we all agree,
Everybody wiggles now, including you and me
Everybody wiggles! Let me say it strong and loud
Everybody wiggles so we may as well be proud."

Myn and Darl applauded as did good old Mrs Chips
Then everybody hugged and gave her kisses on the lips
"We love you, Mrs Chips!" said Myn, "and that will never change,
And if your ear lobe wiggles, we will never think that's strange!"

Mrs Chips looked at the kids and thanked them one by one
And said, "I love you all because you're always so much fun
And just as sure as Darl loves fudge and BB smiles and giggles
From now on I'll be proud of every part of me that wiggles!"
