CHILDREN'S MUSIC MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND

Childrens Poetry & Rhyming Stories by David Bray

It's saturday afternoon and the sun is shining down
The sound of childrens music makes it's way around the town
"Children's music makes me smile" says good old Mrs Chips
"Childrens music makes me shake my toes and finger tips"

Everybodys dancing at the beach upon the sand
Except for Charlie Fripp he's not a children's music fan
"Childrens music makes me mad. I do not like the sound"
But Mrs Chips says children's music makes the world go round

"Childrens music makes me dance" says Larry Lobb the waiter
"Children's music makes me hungry" growls an aligator
Some like childrens music at a hundred miles an hour
Others like their children's music while they take a shower

Childrens music keeps you warm on a winter's morning
Children's music wakes you up when the sun is dawning
Nora Nodd likes pecan pie and dressing up in yellow
And playing funky childrens music on her trusty cello

The baker and the butcher and the banker all agree
The sound of children's music makes you want to climb a tree
Childrens music makes you want to jump and run and skip
Children's music makes you want to somersault and flip
